This delightful cottage with its enclosed garden is ideal for the family to relax in after a day exploring the area and there is even a gate leading to the village park and children’s play area, perfect for your little ones to burn off some energy before dinner. From your front door you can enjoy leisurely walks, or cycle in the beautiful Perthshire countryside and within a short drive, there are many and varied activities available for the whole family to enjoy. You can visit Glamis Castle, which was the home of the late Queen Mother and boasts fascinating history. Alternatively, visit Scone Palace, which is home to the Stone of Destiny. There are many attractions surrounding this delightful location, including the Black Watch Castle, a museum and Perth racecourse. Slightly further afield are the bustling tourist towns of Pitlochry and Aberfeldy.
This area is ideal for guests who enjoy golf and country sports, as there is deer stalking and pheasant and grouse shooting, all available locally. The historic city of Perth, on the River Tay, is well worth a visit and here, guests can visit the theatre, a great variety of shops, many eating places and cafés.
